Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for locating invoices, inputting them into an Excel file, removing duplicates from datasets, merging datasets, and extracting data using an API. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and project management within a warehouse and data environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate and retrieve invoices from emails and other sources. 
• Input invoice data accurately into Excel spreadsheets.
• Remove duplicate entries from datasets to ensure data integrity.
• Merge multiple datasets to create comprehensive reports.
• Use APIs to extract and integrate data into our systems.
• Assist in project management tasks related to warehouse and data management.
• Create workflow charts and Gantt charts to manage and track project progress.
• Collaborate with team members to improve data processing workflows.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from a four-year college program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic understanding of data entry and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with coding languages such as Python, SQL, or similar for data processing.
• Understanding of APIs and how to use them for data extraction.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles, especially in warehouse and data environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create workflow charts and Gantt charts for project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data cleaning and merging techniques.
• Familiarity with email management systems.
• Basic understanding of database management.
• Prior internship or work experience in a related field is a plus.
