Job Description

IGT is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician II to join our newly established Repair Depot Center in our Reno, Nevada headquarters. The repair technician will provide a variety of duties related to the reconditioning of electronic gaming machine parts for our customers and field service offices.

  • Refurbish electronic gaming machine parts according to IGT quality standards.
  • Perform tests to troubleshoot and determine the cause of failure using diagnostic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test fixtures.
  • Perform repairs down to the board and component level.
  • Use of solder stations to perform rework of surface mount or through-hole components.

Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience is required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Self-managed and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
  • Ability to maintain an active presence – standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting – throughout the shift.
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering a minimum of 30 pounds safely.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
  • Experience in high-tech electronics or consumer goods.
  • Soldering experience, surface mount, and through hole.
