About the Role:

Were seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join the hive on behalf of our clients. This role is based in San Diego, CA, and will require in-office attendance Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of family law experience and be ready to handle cases from inception to conclusion. If you're a highly motivated professional with excellent analytical and writing skills, we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Assist supervising attorney in managing family law cases from start to finish.
• Draft letters, pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation briefs, and trial briefs.
• Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel.
• Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits, defend and take depositions.
• Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trials, and conduct legal research.
• Prepare for and attend ex parte hearings, RFO hearings, and other legal matters.
• Routine client contact and tracking of billable time.

Core Competencies:

• 3-5 years of family law experience, with the ability to manage cases from inception to conclusion.
• Strong analytical and oral communication skills.
• Excellent writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly motivated professional with a positive, team-player attitude.
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work under pressure.

What You Bring:

• Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
• Strong desire and ability to handle family law matters from inception to conclusion.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a professional environment.

Skills Required:

• Family law case management, including drafting, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Strong research and legal writing skills.
• Ability to handle depositions and court hearings.
• Proficient in legal research and preparing memorandums.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the California Bar.

Education:

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be in good standing with the California Bar.
