Job Summary

Supervises and oversees the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs working for This Company engaged in carrying out programmed work.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and oversees all operations performed on This Company wells.
• Makes recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.
• Coordinates deliveries of materials to the well to ensure availability when required.
• Ensures that contractors meet all requirements of their contracts.
• Collaborates with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure modern drilling practices are followed.
• Approves contractor daily tour reports.
• Ensures that contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Superintendent.
• Ensures that This Company Blowout Prevention Standards are met in all respects, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response. Assures rig and personnel compliance with This Company established safety standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MI.
• Thirteen (13) years of relevant experience in drilling and workover operations, including supervisory experience typically acquired through progression on a drilling or workover rig.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Seven (7) years of experience working in drilling and workover operations, including sufficient supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
• Willingness to reside in remote areas in mobile camps.
