What You'll Do:

  • Record journal entries consistent with US GAAP to assist with month end close.
  • Complete monthly account recs to support numbers in the financial statements.
  • Gather supporting documentation for our fixed asset records.
  • Archive check images.
  • Generate invoices for worldwide affiliates & external parties for masters uses, royalties, & service fees.
  • Research and compile information for quarterly reporting to senior management.
  • Assist with other accounting processes and projects as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Accounting.
  • Passionate about the music & entertainment business and have a desire to build a career in the industry.
  • Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption.
  • An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, & senior management.
  • You are hungry to learn and grow.
  • You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects.
  • A highly organized person that pays close attention to detail.
  • Proven Excel experience.
  • Sound, professional presence over the phone and during times of stress.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer skills.
  • Experience using accounting information systems and Power BI are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Excel Macros is a plus.
  • 7.5-hour business workday with the option of attending late-night events.
