Job Title: lab technician

Location: Frankfort, KY 40601 United States

Duration: 6 Months

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Minimum of 1 year of Lab/QC or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to fifty pounds without assistance.
• Bachelor's Degree, Science or related technical degree.

Responsibilities:

• The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Center for Innovation and Technical Excellence laboratory.
• Responsibilities will include sample preparation, testing, data analysis, and maintenance of the laboratory.
• Laboratory Technician will also participate in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives to benefit operations.
• Participate in problem solving activities to standardize and improve processes across.
• Implement effective lab procedures for improvement of products and processes.
• Implementing and maintaining systems and procedures to organize standards and samples for the Center for Innovation & Technical Excellence. Support efforts to improve sensory capabilities of personnel at all facilities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the Center for Innovation & Technical Excellence laboratory.
• Develop and maintain solid professional working relationships both inside and outside the company. Set a positive example and act in a manner consistent with company values.
