Job Description

Job Summary: The Landscaping Crew Leader at U S Lawns of Roanoke will oversee and manage a team of landscapers to ensure the successful completion of landscaping projects for commercial clients in Roanoke, Virginia. They will be responsible for leading and motivating the crew to deliver high-quality services, meeting productivity targets, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the franchise industry, offering a competitive compensation package and benefits. Compensation & Benefits: The Landscaping Crew Leader will receive a competitive hourly wage of $16 to $20 per hour, paid weekly. In addition, they will be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, 401k, and opportunities for career advancement within the company. Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of landscapers to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
• Supervise and train crew members in proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols
• Plan and organize daily work schedules for the crew
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and expectations
• Report any customer concerns or issues to management and work towards resolving them
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each project
• Continuously evaluate crew performance and provide feedback for improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Prior experience in landscaping or a similar industry preferred
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions as needed
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
