Now hiring a Laundry Aide for a company in Medina for 1 st shift, 7am – 3:30pm.

Monday – Friday with mandatory weekends as required.

Weekly pay at $15 per hour.

The Laundry Aide is responsible for sorting, folding, loading, and unloading clothing to/from laundry equipment to provide cleaning linens and personal clothing for residents.

Job Duties:

• Sorts soiled linens
• Shakes out clean linen and prepares for distribution
• Folds dried clothing from dryer and dried linen repressed
• Delivers flat linen when needed
• Separates personal clothing according to names and delivers to residents
• Places folded linen/clothing in baskets or hangs upon hangers or racks
• Loads/unloads articles from washers and dryers, turns on and adjusts temperature according to type of material
• Sorts clean "messy" laundry and closets in resident rooms
• Cleans around work areas, including cleaning equipment, lint screens, and mopping floors
• Prepares linen carts for delivery or helps to prepare carts
• Makes up special linen packages
• Prepares special orders when they are called in (Rehab, Nurse training, etc.)
• Keeps track of linen in circulation and distributes if necessary

This position involves walking, standing, and bending for the duration of the shift.

This position involves frequent contact with water and cleaning solutions.
