Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and take on a hands-on role where no two days are the same. From plumbing thermolator water lines to rebuilding motors, fabricating robot guards, and troubleshooting equipment, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our cutting-edge plastic injection molding facility operating at its best. We are interviewing and have positions open on 2nd shift in Baldwin, Wisconsin for a Maintenance Technician.

 

POSITION – Maintenance Technician

JOB LOCATION – Baldwin, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (3pm-1:30am, Mon-Thurs)

STARTING PAY – Up to $35.25/hour (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION – HS Diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Welding, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, HVAC and more!

 

White working as a Maintenance Technician, you'll take on tasks such as plumbing thermolator water lines and rebuilding motors. You'll assist with material transfers, fabricate robot guards, move machines, and troubleshoot equipment. Success in this position requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to confidently operate mills, lathes, bead blasters, sandblasters, power tools, and hand tools to complete tasks with precision and efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth operation of production equipment to keep manufacturing running efficiently.

Maintain and repair motors, pipes, and systems in our state-of-the-art plastic injection molding facility.

Perform tasks such as plumbing thermolator water lines and rebuilding motors.

Fabricate components, including robot guards, and assist with material transfers.

Move and set up machines while troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

Utilize mills, lathes, bead blasters, sandblasters, power tools, and hand tools to complete maintenance tasks accurately.

Execute preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned projects on time with minimal supervision.

Proactively identify tasks that need attention, stay productive, and seamlessly transition work to other shifts as needed.

 

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in a related field or equivalent technical training preferred.

2–4 years of hands-on experience in the following areas:

Welding and fabrication

Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Plumbing installations and repairs

Compressors and vacuum systems

HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting

Reading and interpreting blueprints

Basic knowledge of PLC systems

Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Experience with plumbing, compressors, vacuum systems, and HVAC equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and regularly lifting up to 70 pounds.
