We are hiring Managers, Business Analysis and Insights to join the Walmart+ business team to support development of scalable data driven solutions that support omni-channel strategies in driving member growth, and retention. The ideal candidates will be innovative, data-driven, strategic, & results-oriented leader with a strong passion for the member. These individuals will have expertise in data mining, data structures, data modelling, analysis, story telling, and project management. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can work cross-functionally to support business data needs and democratize data, evaluate program performance and forecast future performance against an aggressive growth roadmap.

The successful candidates will:

• Be highly skilled with data visualizations and communications.
• Develop data foundations for effective data analysis and reporting.
• Provide data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs; reporting data-based insights in a uniform manner; reporting on business strategies; collaborating with internal and external business partners to build a consistent and accurate strategy for using data-driven insights (ability to manipulate data with SQL and BI tools directly (GCP, tableau, Looker).
• Visualize and synthesize key results into a presentation format that focuses on meaningful insights that inform future action. Prepare documentation (e.g., PowerPoint, Word) to communicate strategic recommendations based on data analysis. 
• Support Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Business review with a focus on actionable insights that influence short-, mid- and long-term strategy.
• Build automated dashboard and reporting views in BI tools (tableau, looker, etc). Train Business partners on Dashboard and Report utilization for self-guided analysis
• Collaborate with partner teams (e.g., engineering, product, operations) to develop consultative solutions as needed for individual workstreams or projects for our business area. Supporting the implementation of processes, systems, and tooled solutions by building relationships & partnerships with key business stakeholders.
• Display Problem-solving aptitude when support root cause analysis, troubleshooting, understanding business pain points.

You’ll make an impact through the/your:

• Ability to dive into the drivers of performance and generate actionable insights for stakeholders (Business/Statistical Analysis)
• Ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex data to technical and non-technical audiences (Communication/Presentation)
• Ability to navigate in an ambiguous environment, and any experience partnering with IT on business requirement development, closing data gaps, etc.
• Experience working hands-on with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and developing end-to-end solutions (Stakeholder Management)
• Ability to develop strategic insights to support programs – Gain a deep understanding of the problem and pain points, identify data informed solutions that are executable. Clearly articulate and position the strategy and goals of each program to generate buy in and ensure the capabilities are built accordingly.
• Ability to lead the execution plan and gain cross-functional collaboration at the supervisory level to ensure the program plan is properly executed, including capability automation, seller adoption, benefit and impact delivery. You will ensure improvements in member NPS, GMV, operational efficiencies and cost reduction.
• Driving organizational change –b e passionate about the member, be member obsessed, set the example for your team and drive member understanding that drives ownership across Walmart. The ultimate objective for you is to drive organizational and cultural change at Walmart to ensure member experience creates retention to meet long term goals.
• Ability to operate at the highest standards. You are an athlete and have the passion for retail, subscription, members and customers, to be a champion across the entire Walmart organization (operating with excellence)
• Ability to promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

You'll sweep us of our feet if you...

• Have academic and/or professional experience in fields of Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Have experience working with very large datasets, using Big Query / Google Cloud Product.
• Have solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus; Prior experience in retail and ecommerce is definitely a plus!
• You are biased for action, relentless about driving and owning the goal and you are motivated by the responsibility of delivering the most crucial capabilities for long term marketplace growth
• Have experience analyzing and solving forecasting & optimization problems, ideally retail, fraud management, or contact center related
• Have experience working on large, high visibility programs spanning multiple parts of an organization, with knowledge and skills in project management
• Have experience leading projects working with large data sets, finding insights, and telling stories using data
• Have a structured and organized approach to drive programs & expected outcomes with minimal direction
• Have excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
• Have high curiosity and ownership to learn and deep dive in problems

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
• 2 years’ experience using SQL and BI tools for data analysis purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business or related field.
• 2 years’ experience working with cross-functional teams.
• 2 Years experience in dashboard development (preferably Tableau)

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00
