About the Position
The Marketing Communications Specialist partners with cross-functional teams to develop content as part of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal outcomes and consistency with the VitalPath brand. This includes developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that drive traffic and engagement, conducting keyword research, writing and optimizing web and social media content, writing copy for collateral and other sales tools, and managing content calendars.
This role requires extensive customer service and communication skills, regular reporting on project status, writing and editing of all types of content, and high professionalism. The specialist must be a strong writer who can collaborate with R&D and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate technical concepts into stories and assets that drive business value for our prospects and customers. Additionally, the specialist will analyze performance metrics to refine content strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with broader marketing goals.

Work Location:
New Hope office, hybrid flexible 1-2 days a week

Responsibilities
  • Identify customer trends and competitive offerings to inform marketing communications strategies and programs in collaboration with marketing lead, business development and engineering teams.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing communications and promotional efforts that drive visibility, brand positioning, and targeted traffic to the VitalPath website.
  • Develop collateral, blogs, email, web copy, case studies, video scripts, webinars, media articles, social posts and other content to ensure development of most impactful and leverageable assets that drive audience engagement.
  • Understand and incorporate SEO keyword usage and research to content as appropriate.
  • Assist with participation, management and support of industry events and trade shows.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with sales and R&D teams to generate content and sales materials; including customer presentations, sell sheets, technical summaries and videos.
  • Coordinate the development of content by managing the interview process including scheduling calls with SMEs, editing content, and securing the required reviews and approvals.
  • Actively track and measure performance of marketing communications programs to optimize planned elements and deliver a strong ROI.
  • Partner with paid media and distributors to develop and execute support programs.
  • Create engaging and compelling content for use with paid media/distributor partners.
  • Support the planning and drafting of email nurturing campaigns.
  • Develop content library and usage model for extended leverage of carefully created and curated content.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Create and schedule posts, manage social media accounts, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in marketing communications and copy writing
  • Previous experience writing communications for business to business manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of CRM/Marketing Automation systems, email campaigns, website/CMS development, social platforms and generative AI
  • Effective writing and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being able to operate within a team environment
  • Aptitude to read technical information and translate it into a digestible narrative
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize project workload
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience writing communications for MedTech manufacturing
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design, and Canva)
