Job Description

We are excited to hire a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Jacuzzi Group, a leading manufacturer of hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, saunas, and pool equipment, known for delivering innovative and high-quality wellness products for over 60 years.

The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the Distribution Center and Manufacturing facility by receiving, storing and distributing materials and products within plant locations

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate sit-down forklift to transport materials inside the warehouse
• Verify quantity and good condition of items and materials received
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code in relation to computer system locations
• Utilize MRP/ERP system to transfer materials between internal companies
• Cycle count to ensure accurate inventory levels
• Utilize RF Scanner
• Perform daily inspections on forklift and report any issues
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
• Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:00pm + overtime as necessary.

Compensation is $16.25/hr to start

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sit down forklift operating experience

• Must be able to pass certification requirements to drive a company issued forklift.
• Attention to detail and a strong emphasis on safety
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (75+ lbs. consistently)
• Previous experience with ERP/MRP software
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
