This unique position is suited for an individual who is a Power BI Developer who can also excel at being the guiding force of what data is needed based on Business Unit needs and how to appropriately present the data needed to solve some of the complex issues facing the business in today’s market. You will be the Developer and the Business Analyst all in one.
If you have the background and ability to…
- Be onsite in the Falls Church office every day. Some hybrid flexibility will be granted after 6 to 9 months, so only local candidates will be considered
- Show an accomplished background in Power BI Development
- Add opinions and provide direction in the Data Selection, Data Analysis, Dashboard Creation, and Data Presentation process
- Understand the needs of our organization, track trends, and develop and implement dashboards that will assist with growth and areas of opportunity
- Show five years of experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS
- Work in Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Handle Data Engineering and SQL Database Management
- Provide a Microsoft Power BI Certification a plus
- Understand database operations and optimization for MySQL
- Handle Modeling and Schemas in normalized, flat, star, and snowflake
- Provide proof of US Citizenship

To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in a field like Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or another related field. Individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management abilities, and a knack for critical thinking and problem-solving will thrive in this role.
