Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recruiter to join our team. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, maintaining a diverse candidate pool, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations. You will collaborate with hiring managers to develop staffing plans, conduct in-depth screens, and make selection decisions. Additionally, you will utilize recruitment tools and systems to track candidate progress and complete pre-employment checks. Location: 51 Clemson Road Columbia SC
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain an active requisition load for high volume, repetitive jobs, campus recruiting, internships, and/or entry-level professional roles
Fill open positions while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable government regulations
Implement recruitment practices that promote diversity and inclusion in the candidate pool
Develop staffing plans and pipeline talent to generate qualified candidate pools
Conduct in-depth screens and assess candidates for interest, qualifications, and salary expectations
Provide support and advice to management regarding recruiting plans and selection criteria
Assist management with salary decisions and train new managers on compliance with policies and regulations
Utilize recruitment tools, such as the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, for workflow tracking, candidate disposition, offer extension, and new hire documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of pre-employment checks
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in any major or 4 years of human resources related work experience
2 years of human resources experience, preferably in a Recruiting/Talent Acquisition capacity
Good judgment, effective customer service, and strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of database software (e.g., Access)
AIRS Certifications (preferred)
