Job Title: REMOTE Sr. SQL Execution Engineer
Job Location: REMOTE - our HQ is in Sunnyvale, CA 
Compensation: $150K - $200K+ base plus equity DOE
Requirements: SQL Query Execution Engine, Auto-Vectorization, GCC/LLVM/MLIR Internals, SQL Compiler

What You Will Be Doing

You will help to build a groundbreaking, scale-out analytics platform to process data at blazing speeds to deliver dramatic reductions in ingest-to-insight time at a fraction of the cost. You'll have the opportunity to help support and grow our company's ecosystem. You will work closely with the development team to build and maintain a SQL parser and query optimizer for large-scale single-node and distributed query execution engines.

What You Need for this Position

Must have a Bachelor's (Master's Degree preferred) in Computer Science or similar with at least 5 years of experience with the following:

• Experience in big data analytics, Query compilers and Planners
• Experience with data pipelines like Spark/Presto/Kafka is a plus 
• Working knowledge of compilers, operating systems and programming language design
• Experience with auto-vectorization compiler technologies
• Experience with internals of GCC/LLVM/MLIR is a plus
• Experience with Machine Learning hardware technologies is a plus
• Auto-Vectorization, GCC, LLVM, MLIR
• GPU, TPU, AVX512 
• Physical, Logical planners
• SQL Compiler, Spark, Presto
