Summary

The Social Media Coordinator will play a vital part in supporting the development and growth of our brand presence across social media platforms. This role works collaboratively across the social media team at Carhartt to support the development of innovative, best-in-class content across all social media platforms with a focus on business results and brand awareness/engagement. This role will be uniquely positioned to build strong cross-functional partnership that will be able to push social media forward at Carhartt through the content we create and stories that we tell to further strengthen our bond with our consumer. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, has a creative mindset, and is eager to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Support Social Media Specialist in creation of all social media content creative briefs and manage projects from concept to activation in market for campaign across social media platforms.
  • Support evaluation of incoming social media campaign requests to inform future campaign planning timelines. 
  • Leverage social media listening tools to identify key themes and topics across social media platforms and make recommendations to improve brand efforts, priorities, and investments.
  • Identify and share key influencers across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube through active engagement and relationship building with Influencer Marketing Associate Manager.
  • Monitor and evaluate new and emerging social media platforms and provide regular updates to team leaders.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media performance reports to social media team, broader marketing team and leader.
  • Regularly deliver social media thought-leadership through reports on social trends, audience development and competitive brand insights to the team.
  • Work closely with Social Media Specialist II and greater social team to ensure optimal collaboration and efficiency.
  • Complete other social media and/or marketing projects as assigned.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other related discipline.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1 year of professional or internship experience with social media, social media community management, social content creation, or related field
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Passion for and expertise in social media and navigating the digital marketing landscape
  • Proactive, self-starter, self-manager, and tenacity in finding solutions to problems
  • Highly creative and imaginative with strong conceptual skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and attention to detail.
  • Experience with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Pinterest
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting. Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required. 

  • Willing to work evenings and weekends if necessary.

  • ​​This position has a Hybrid location: Associate will work on-site regularly as needed for work activities

  • Carhartt is tobacco free workplace.​
