Job Description

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Travel Agency Manager to oversee our travel agency's daily operations and ensure efficient and effective service delivery. The Travel Agency Manage r will play a key role in managing the operational aspects of our travel packages, coordinating with vendors, managing client relations, and leading our operations team to achieve company objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, leadership, and a deep understanding of the travel industry to enhance operational performance and deliver exceptional travel experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives and market trends.
  • Oversee the agency's day-to-day operations, including proactive fraud monitoring and booking quality assurance.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across every customer touchpoint.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the operations team to achieve productivity and performance targets.
  • Fraud and quality assurance and/or assisting with escalated problem resolution.
  • Monitor and manage operational costs to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with state and travel industry regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that enhance the agency's market presence and attract new clients.
  • Manage and resolve any customer and team member issues that arise.
  • Stay informed about the latest travel trends, destinations, and technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a management role within the travel industry. (5-7 years)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good understanding of budgeting and financial management.
  • Proficient in travel booking and reservation systems.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Must reside in the Greater Atlanta area and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
